College Curriculum

In the Senior College, students follow a balanced, core curriculum in Upper Third and Lower Fourth (Years 7 and 8) before making option choices for GCSE at the start of Upper Fourth (Year 9).

For GCSE the majority of our students study 9 GCSEs/iGCSEs (we use the specification that we deem to be most interesting, that are also fair in terms of marking and accessibility). English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Religion and Science (most students study Trilogy where Biology, Chemistry and Physics are studied, which is worth 2 GCSES, there is the option to take Separate Science where a GCSE is awarded for each discipline) and three option choices make up a students GCSE studies.

In the Sixth Form we offer an extremely wide range of A-level courses, students can either choose to take 4 A-levels or 3 A-levels with either an EPQ or Core Mathematics qualification.

This is supplemented by not only our PSMEE programme and Senior Games, but also with the Harvard Leadership Programme.
