Upper Fifth Students Support Jamaica Relief Effort
Mrs I. Morillo – MFL Teacher
In the wake of the devastating hurricane that swept across Jamaica, one of the students in my form, Nahum T, approached the school to ask if we could contribute non-perishable food items and toiletries to the relief effort.

Permission was granted for a collection among the Upper Fifth Year students. As is so often the case, they did not disappoint and the donations poured in. The designated collection point quickly filled with essential items of food and personal hygiene products.
We were proud to personally deliver the donations to the official collection point. Our photograph shows Nahum and I dropping off the bags.
These vital supplies were then packaged and prepared to begin their journey, departing for Jamaica at the end of November, where they will provide much needed comfort and practical assistance to families rebuilding their lives.
We extend a massive thank you to every student and family who contributed. Your efforts will genuinely make a difference to the people who have lost so much in Jamaica.
