The Stations of the Cross through the Eyes of Mary

On Thursday 26th March, our chapel provided a quiet and reflective setting for Prep 4’s presentation of the Stations of the Cross. The performance followed the traditional 14-step devotion—commemorating Jesus’ final hours from His condemnation to His burial—but with a unique focus on the perspective of Mary, His mother. This narrative approach, combined with thoughtful prayer and beautiful singing, helped the audience of parents and pupils connect with the Easter story in a meaningful way. Through their songs and narration, the children clearly explained the importance of each station, making the complex themes of the Easter story accessible to our younger Prep pupils. It was a well-prepared and respectful service that allowed for a moment of calm reflection. Well done, Prep 4, for an incredible Easter Assembly.
