NHS Open Day Sparks Curiosity
Mrs Rachael Prince – Head of Science

On Wednesday 26th September, 17 Upper Fifth and Lower Sixth pupils visited the Nowgen centre at MRI hospital for their annual open day. There were over 30 stalls from different departments of Manchester Hospitals Foundation trust, which sparked curiosity and gave pupils an insight into the wide variety of careers on offer. Pupils enjoyed their first chance to ‘network’ with guidance from Ms Boustead, and took advantage of the orthopedic workshop to feign injury to a few unsuspecting parents. They left with a wealth of knowledge and an insight into the many opportunities available to them. We look forward to attending again next year!
