GCSE
Results Day
2025

Congratulations to our students!

INSPIRED · COMMITTED · GRATEFUL ·

This morning, it was a real joy to welcome back our Upper Fifth pupils as they collected their GCSE results. The atmosphere was one of pride and excitement as pupils, parents and teachers celebrated a truly exceptional set of outcomes – our strongest progress since before the pandemic.

This year, 40% of all grades awarded were at grade 7 or higher, with one in five pupils achieving a grade 7 or higher across every subject. The cohort as a whole exceeded their baseline predictions, with many pupils surpassing expectations by a significant margin. Almost 10% of all grades were the coveted grade 9, and over 90% of pupils achieved at least one grade 7 – an outstanding reflection of their hard work and determination.

Amongst many remarkable individual performances, special commendation goes to Vinanya, who achieved a clean sweep of ten grade 9s, and Martina, who secured four grade 9s alongside six grade 8s. Congratulations also to Poppy, Vincent, Ricardo, Jayden, Elise, and Holly, each of whom attained at least four grade 9s.

We are equally delighted that so many of the year group will be continuing their academic journey in our Sixth Form, following in the footsteps of our leavers who secured such outstanding A level results last week.

Mrs Kemp shared her pride in the achievements of the year group:

“These results are a testament to the resilience, determination and talent of our pupils, who have been supported so strongly by their teachers and families. It is inspiring to see how much they have achieved, and I know they will carry this success and confidence forward into their next steps.”
