Curiosity What’s Your Question?

L6GOO went to the Science and Industry Museum. The virtue of Fortitude was represented through the stories of the inventors who were resilient to keep going with their inventions even when faced with challenges. As a form, learning all these new things together was exciting, fun and a joyous experience. We worked as a team to find our route to the museum and we showed organisation skills by sticking to our planned trip and getting there swiftly.
L6MUR went to the Manchester Museum, which is on the University of Manchester campus. There are exhibitions about Ancient Egypt, frogs and lizards and dinosaurs. We saw intriguing content in the museum that brought us excitement. It was also nice to go on a trip with friends in the form. We did not get tickets for an exhibition in advance, so using our problem-solving skills, we decided it would be best if one person bought all our tickets, as we would not have to wait for everyone to get theirs. This activity was incredibly interesting and taught us a lot about the history of different cultures, such as Ancient Egypt and China. We also learnt about a variety of animals, and they were really beautiful. A lesson regarding morality was the Tigon; they were hybrids deliberately created by people and used as an attraction, instead of being viewed as a life. This teaches us the importance of caring about lives other than human beings, as they are easily exploited by people for profit.
L6WAJ went to the Manchester Museum. It was a rainy day, but we still took the bus to the museum. Not all of us were interested in going to the museum at first, but we all made an effort to spend time together! We also learnt how to communicate effectively to get to our slot for the exhibition on time. At the museum, there were various exhibits about animals, cultures and history. We decided to go to the Triceratops exhibit, where there was a real 1.9 metre long skull! It was very interesting to learn about the Triceratops, its habitat and its behaviours, especially since not all of us share a passion for history. Overall, it was a great opportunity for us to all spend time together and learn something new!
