On the 15 of January, we took part in a Modern Foreign Languages drama competition at Cheadle Hulme School, in which we had to create an original piece to perform in a different language.
We had prepared for weeks along with two other groups. Then the day came and the nerves and excitement settled in. When we got there, we were led to the “Holden Hall”, where the event took place. Tension rose as our competition started to arrive. We checked the schedule, we were soon up. Then we heard,
”St Bede’s College: El Primero de Noviembre”.
The lights dropped and we performed and with a round applause it was over. We sat and watched multiple brilliant performances in both French and Spanish.
