Dr A. McMonagle – Head of Sixth Form
On June 26th, the Goulburn Suite at Manchester Hall was transformed for the highly anticipated Sixth Form Ball. It proved to be a spectacular evening, celebrating the hard work, resilience and camaraderie of our wonderful students.
A major highlight of the night was the hilarious awards ceremony, which was ably and charismatically presented by our outgoing Head Boy, Solomon, and Head Girl, Shriya. Their sharp wit and fantastic energy set a wonderful tone for the rest of the celebration.
The real surprise of the evening, however, came once the music started. It turns out our Sixth Form students had kept their formidable dancing talents well and truly hidden until the night! Despite the summer heat, the energy in the room never wavered; the dancefloor was filled and remained packed all night long as students debuted some truly unforgettable moves. It was a wonderful, joyous send-off for a brilliant year group, marking the perfect end to their Sixth Form journey.
