Mr T. Wilson – Head of Magdalene House
As part of our annual House Day, the Lower Sixth conducted outreach work by visiting the Laudato Si’ Centre at Wardley Hall in Salford.
During the morning there, they worked with volunteers to help rejuvenate the Diocese grounds.
Work involved general gardening but also creating new pathways for visitors and constructing new areas for younger school children to use.
The pupils demonstrated fantastic teamwork and diligence, highlighting a passion to provide for the wider community.
As a result of their work the Diocese can offer more opportunities for primary school visits and they have continued to foster our strong relationship with them.
All students were enthusiastic and represented what it means to be Bedian superbly well.
We look forward to continuing this work in the future to build a better community for all.
