Ms J Theriault – Sixth Form Enrichment Coordinator
On the sweltering morning of Thursday, June 25th – right in the middle of a brutal heatwave – the Lower Sixth took a pause from their usual studies and embarked on an exhilarating paintballing trip. The day was filled with adrenaline as students strategised against each other in two teams (blue vs red), ran through the wooded area of Delta Force Paintball in Bottany Bay Woods, and engaged in friendly yet competitive battles with each other. Before the missions commenced, students were given a thorough safety brief by members of staff on how to use the paintballing equipment, appropriate shooting distances and how to cope with the heat. Students were also supported when choosing the correct outfit and gear. Overall, the trip offered not only a physically demanding challenge but also an opportunity for students to bond and create lasting memories outside the classroom. What a fabulous end to the year!
