Mrs S Bolton – Bedian Research Programme Director

Who are you today? Who do you want to become tomorrow? As part of the Bedian Research Programme, our Lower Fourth pupils took to the stage for the inaugural “I AM” Speech Day Competition, sharing thoughtful, personal presentations about their aspirations, values and the futures they hope to create. Drawing on a year of exploring careers, financial responsibility and emotional intelligence, each student reflected on what truly matters to them and the person they are becoming. Along the way, they developed the confidence, research skills and presentation abilities that will serve them well far beyond the classroom. A huge congratulations to every finalist who earned their place on stage, and thank you to our esteemed judges, Mrs Bolton, Mr Mitchell and Mr Sanders, for the difficult task of selecting this year’s winner. At St Bede’s, we’re not just preparing young people for their examinations: we’re helping them discover their voices, think independently and become confident, compassionate leaders of the future.
