Jess recently delivered an outstanding performance at the Junior Inter-Regional​ Rowing Championships, representing the North West on April 25th at the National Watersports Centre in Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham.

It was an exceptionally long and demanding day, beginning with a very early start. The competition opened with a 1000m time trial early in the morning, where Jess and her rowing partner Flo competed against crews from across the country. Demonstrating remarkable skill and determination, they secured the fastest time, placing them in first position and earning a place in the prestigious 1500m A Final​.

The final proved to be a thrilling and closely contested race. Jess and Flo delivered an impressive performance, ultimately claiming the silver medal and missing out on gold by just half a boat length. It was a nail-biting finish and a testament to their ​d​edication, teamwork, and resilience.

With this achievement under their belts, Jess and Flo are now setting their sights on the British Rowing Championships in July, where training and preparation will continue in pursuit of further success.
