At the end of a busy first week, the Lower Sixth have had an opportunity to have a day away from regular lessons in order to bond socially and to participate in a range of enrichment activities.

After an informal assembly given by Dr McMonagle, the students experienced three different enrichment activities. Firstly, they received an academic induction in the Library provided by Mrs Poolton, our College Librarian. In this session, the students learned more about advanced study skills and the ways to navigate online resources. Following this, they attended a Spiritual Reflection provided by our College Chaplain, Mrs Hibbert. The day was capped off with something new: the students were taught Circus Skills by The Circus House, Manchester
