Dear Parents
What you hold in your hands is the first of what we hope will become a regular newsletter to help us build closer links with parents. As a Catholic school, we are deeply mindful you are the first and most important educators of your children and that we are privileged to be able to share in this most precious responsibility. This shapes the work we do.
In allowing us to share in this core developmental task, we know that we have to work with you to ensure that your children become the best possible version of themselves. One of the recent mottos which the College has used is particularly apt: “Be the Best You Can be”.
This phrase incidentally is not just aimed at the children and young people of our community, but every member of the Bedian family. We are part of a long educational tradition which has as its aim the all-round development (academic, physical, spiritual and moral) of everyone who comes in touch with it: primarily the pupils, of course, but also teachers and parents.
