Sixth Form Wins Funding for a Bali Adventure!

We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news with you. Our Sixth Form has successfully bid for the UK government’s prestigious Turing Scheme grant.
Because of this funding, 30 of our students will be heading on an ALL EXPENSES PAID trip to Bali next summer.
This is a true trip of a lifetime. The Turing Scheme is the UK’s global programme that funds life-changing study and work placements abroad. Named after the famous British mathematician and codebreaker Alan Turing, it helps students build independence and global awareness. We won this competitive block grant to give our students an unforgettable international experience.
What is the Adventure?
We are partnering with Think Pacific, an award-winning organisation that has guided thousands of learners on global experiences since 2009. Students will spend 15 days in Ubud, Bali, which is the cultural and ethical heart of the island.
Think Pacific focuses on three main areas to help our students grow:
- Personal Enrichment: Building character, resilience, confidence, and independence.
- Work Readiness: Providing real-world experience with employers and workplaces to boost future university and job applications.
- Civic Responsibility: Teaching sustainability, global citizenship, and cultural intelligence.
Ubud is a spectacular destination. Our students will work alongside local businesses, health pathways, and community tourism projects. They will stay in high-quality accommodation with excellent local support, making it both a safe and high-impact environment.
What Happens Next?
This trip is fully funded by the government grant, meaning the standard costs are covered for our 30 lucky students.
