Our 2026 A Level examination results saw our students exceed their baseline predictions by the largest margin in the College’s history, while 97% secured their chosen university places.

It was such a joy to welcome back our Upper Sixth students this morning to celebrate their fantastic results: a true testament to all the hard work they have put in over the last two years. We couldn’t be prouder of who they have become. Watching them form lifelong friendships, step up as confident young leaders, and thrive through our personalised teaching has been an absolute privilege. Celebrating their success today and seeing all their dedication pay off means the world to us.

With over a third of all grades being awarded at A* or A, and nearly three quarters of grades A* to B, there was much to celebrate. The cohort significantly exceeded their baseline predictions, with some achieving over two grades higher. A fifth of students achieved three A grades or higher.

We are thrilled for both Elsie (A*A*A and A* in EPQ) and Yoshi (A*AAA), who will pursue their passion for Chemistry at the University of Manchester. Ruochen (A*AA) will join them there to study Computer Science and Mathematics.

Our Veterinary Science applicant, Travis, is delighted to have gained his first choice at the University of Surrey (A*A*A) and our Medicine hopeful, Matthew, is off to the University of Sheffield to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor.

Two students have chosen to study Mechanical Engineering: Carlos (A*A*A*B) has a place in University College London, and Alex (AAA and A in EPQ) at the University of Manchester. We are also very proud of Harry (AAA), who is off to Newcastle University to study Geography.

Several of our Sixth Formers have secured degree apprenticeship places, including Michael, who has been offered a position as a Test and Commissioning Engineer with BAE Systems. He will be joining the team in Barrow-in-Furness to build nuclear-powered submarines.

Two of the cohort are following their dreams of working in theatre: Solomon, who has been with us since Nursery, and has made phenomenal contributions to Musicals and Shakespeare shows in the College, is off to Guildford School of Acting. Meanwhile, Grace, who has been an invaluable contributor to Performing Arts in the College not only in terms of acting, but also in costume design, is taking on Theatre and Performance Design at the University of the Arts London.
