Our International Programme welcomes students aged 10 to 18 to become part of everyday life at St Bede's. Students study alongside our pupils, following a broad curriculum while receiving dedicated English language support tailored to their level — from beginner to advanced — all while living with a carefully selected host family and discovering British life in and out of school.

Living with a carefully selected host family is at the heart of the St Bede's International experience. It gives students somewhere to belong beyond the school day, while allowing them to experience everyday British family life and use their English naturally.

Students study alongside our pupils, become part of the wider life of the College, and choose an elective — Music, Drama or Sport — to enjoy throughout their stay.
Known and supported
Every student has a dedicated personal tutor, who provides consistent support for their academic progress, wellbeing and experience of life in a new country — alongside their host family, teachers and the International Programme team.
Beyond the host family and College life, students also enjoy guided Sunday excursions exploring Manchester and destinations further afield — from Old Trafford and MediaCityUK to Chester, the Peak District, Liverpool and York.
